Around the VB of Frederikshavn the Germans made a Landfront called "Sperrriegel".
The Sperrriegel started at the coast, just south of the Bangostrand. The battery was located on the end of the coast near by. The Sperrriegel itself made a half circle inland, with a maximum distance from the see of about 5km, including the air strip of Frederikshavn at Knivholt. It came back to the coast just north of the Heavy Flak battery North near Aphorn.
The objects have been spread along the frontline and most of the time as a single object in the country side. They are hard to find specially during the summer time because of all the vegetation.
